Sittin' on the Dock of the...Cove

I live on a lake now. How cool is that? My friend called me today and I went outside for some solitude and found myself basking in the sun and my feet in the water. She wanted to see what this "cul-de-sac" of water was, so I tried to take some different shots with my phone. Here's the result.

I've recently discovered that I draw closer to God through his creation. The idea's not new, just the clear label of it. I'm a "naturalist." I guess this comes from growing up 30 minutes from 6 great ski resorts, and being born by the beach. My brother and I used to fish in the Intracoastal in West Palm, and now I find myself in constant awe of God again as I sit by the lake. My residence at the beach is on pause, but I just can't escape God's beauty. Woe to us if we end up paving it all.

You live on a lake? What? Your are so beautiful Linds. Your hair looks great. I totally can relate to drawing closer to God by being by the water. SO cool.

My backyard suddenly looks sooo cold. You have a great memory (my brother peeing in the fridge)...and I LOVE Jimmy Eat World!! I have had a hard time getting back to my normal 10K time since moving back to UT but the other day I was listening to that cd and I finally got a decent time! Too bad we can't go running together...although, a trip to CA doens't look so bad right now compared to this freeezingness we have here :)
