Keep Your Fingers Crossed

I've put in a bid for an illustration job on Etsy to do the images for an ASL book. Do some serious prayin' and maybe I'll get it. (This is the sign for "too/same as.")

For now, I'm working on the drawings for a mural I am to do this month for another children's dental office in Vista. For reference, I thought I'd post some of the other bigger murals I've done in the last few years:This was the first dental office mural I did , "Four Seasons"

Sprucing up a garage, abstract wave style.

The very first large-scale mural at Tri-City church in Vista...they flew my mom out from SLC to help me. They said the first Sunday it was up a toddler walked right into it! Now that's a compliment.Another church mural, this one at Summit Christian near Cal State San Marcos...everyone loves a beach scene, as you can see. Thankfully, this new one will have nothing to do with the beach. Stay posted and I'll update you soon.

Hi Lindsey! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Funny, I started off as a mural artist, too. Now much of my work is very small. : ) It is quite a skill to do both large and small scale artwork. Your murals are beautiful...

....as are your watercolors! Really, they are quite stunning. I am totally impressed. Do you do a lot of shows?

Hope you'll keep in touch..

Hey Lindsey!
You should participate in Illustration Friday! Its just a weekly prompt word and then you illustrate it! Go over to IllustrationFriday.com and check it out. Its such a great exercise.

I take a figure drawing class because I really ENJOY drawing from life and I just need to get out of the house some. I also need help drawing hands, feet and legs.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really like your murals! What a huge undertaking each one must be.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Candace
