Sea Bees?...I need a break.

Sometimes the time I spend blogging really takes away from my other creative goals. Do you ever feel that way? So instead I think I'll paint today, and maybe try to work on a baby quilt for a friend, or make something for my Etsy shop.I also might go to the pool and take a walk in the garden. For now, here are some more bees to tempt you to sign up for my Bee Stamp Giveaway, comments are open until Friday at midnight.
By the way, this lovely little flower is called Sea Lavender. How sweet is that? That must mean these are sea bees.

Yes, those flowers are so pretty. I love that purple color.

I am scared of bees. I have never been stung by one, but on multiple occasions I have been around someone when a bee has stung them, and they were Drama Queens, so they reacted by screaming and crying. So i am not sure if it really does hurt that bad, or if it was because they overact - but now I have built bee stings up to be this monumentally painful experience. Bees are scary.

Oh - I am going to post about this soon, but are you free Sunday June 14? That's when I am doing the SoCal bloggers meet up. It will be a lunch at my friend's place in Glendale. Just wanted to give you a heads up!

And about the sewing machine - that was a custom illustration I did for a customer, so I had to check with her if I could use it on items to sell in my shop - she just gave me the go-ahead, so you will probably see it in a card set coming soon. I am working on a few new ones - a French theme, a Rome theme, and a few others, and I will be incorporating the sewing machine into one soon.

Those flowers are gorgeous. And I agree with you. Sometimes it's good to get away from the computer for a while. Have a lovely day!

You know what... taking a little time away from the comp seems like a good idea. I feel I can spend hours just perusing blogs, getting ideas, and what not. But then by the time I'm off the computer, I am too pooped to do much. So I think for the rest of the day, I will be PC-free... maybe tomorrow too!fig

good for you!
i can't wait to be PC free in just about an hour...that's when they release me from my cube. it's shaping up to be an "off the grid" kind of night for sure.

I sometimes feel the same way as you do. Besides, it takes time for me to blog in English but I'm really enjoying "meeting" nice women (no man so far)just at the other side of my computer. My problem is I'm not good at arranging my time table for 24 hours. Maybe I need more than 24hours a day. Have a nice day.

Sorry, it's me again. Ooooh, someone on the top of its comments has reminded me of her "Summer swapping"! Do you think she is kindly planning it? ha,ha,ha.

Hi Lindsey!

There is NEVER enough time in the day to do everything I want to do, so I find myself up half the night too!!!

Your purple flower/bee photo's are beautiful, and I love your banner!

Love the flowers and I do love bees
I wish I could have a place to plant bee flowers and put some hives for them. I understand the world would not be so great if the bees died.Did you see the video where the man is covered in bees? and not even stung. Now that's brave.
