Here's to you, Daddy-O

He used to bring me back rock candy and porcelain dog figurines from road trips.

When he went hunting with his brothers I thought, Who is this killing machine and what have you done with my daddy?

We have deep theological conversations every day.

When I was in Girl Scouts I made him a pin with beads, put it on a jacket he was taking on a trip; it is still there today, 20 years later.

Happy Father's day.Oh, and he's been married to this bombSHELL for 32 years. Happy birthday mom!

Here's a fun game...anyone care to guess how old they are?

Awwwww... your daddio sounds super.

But as for the age-guessing thing - I suck at that! When I was 17, I dated a 30-year-old, thinking he was only 20. See? I am bad with guessing ages.

Love your pictures of San Diego. I'll guess your mom 54 and your dad 56. I'm probably wrong, but what ever their age they look happy and like they really enjoy life!! Have a blessed day.
