"Ladybugs, Katherine. Lots and lots of ladybugs"

Quote from one of my favorite movies, Under the Tuscan Sun (2003).The ladybugs are out today!

Ladybug, Ladybug
Fly away home
Your house is on fire
and your children are alone

My mom used to chant me this rhyme as a little girl in Florida when we found one of these ladies. Let's hear it for the ladybugs...don't you love them as much as I do?

Oh how cute! This is such an adorable pic. I read a blog once where the writer put ladybug stickers around her gross trash bags so they wouldn't look as ugly.

I have never seen Under The Tuscan Sun. I need to put that on my Netflix list.

My daughter will love this picture. She's crazy about ladybugs and they just talked about them in pre-school today so she's been talking about them a lot today.

Yea - you finished your mural. I can't believe it's been so long since I last saw your blog. Baby is keeping me busy. I followed the link, the bag your cousin made is really cute. And how funny that she and I live so close. The fabrics we're using are by Denyse Schmidt (Katie Jump Rope + Flea Market Fancy), Amy Butler (Daisy Chain), Anna Marie Horner (Good Folks) and Sentamental Studios (Chez Moi). I just adore the Good Folks line now.

I absoulutely love them. They came into one of my upstairs bathrooms and must have had babies because there were so many.
Don't exactly know how they survived up there. I never had a heart to get rid of them and then one day .....they disappeared. lol
