Before it is Entitled to the Appellation

I was tagged by the propitious Gaia to participate in this rather enjoyable little exercise of creativity. The assignment? To create a hypothetical album cover for an imaginary little band. I rather like mine, I'd buy it. I think it's a 90's grunge thing.

The quote I found was by George Washington and I thought the words were wise (jotting them down in my mental notebook, wishing I knew this as a young'un.)

Here are the rules of engagement:

1 - Go to "wikipedia.com" Select “random article”or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations"or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover art.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together. I used Picnik (http://www.picnik.com/)

I'm not going to tag anyone, but I'd instead like to invite you in this creative exercise and encourage you to be imaginative; it's really not that hard. And if you do, be sure to let me know...I wanna see what you make (I can't help it, it's the art teacher in me.)
